The second photo shows how they should align. Now you can cut the Plastruct to length too. I find side cutters are handy of this, cutting the two sides of the 'L' separately as this avoids 'squishing' the plastic. This Instructable will explain this simpler aspects of making a box.
Chunks from old and broken-down cardboard boxes work well, too, as long as they have a flat surface on all sides and are rigid enough not to bend when poured into. To combat the air bubbles rising to the surface, spray the top of the resin with a releasing agent. Smooth and scrape off any excess resin with a metal putty knife. Allow the resin to set for the time specified in your product’s instructions. Due to the flexibility of cured molding putty, it is necessary to create a second more durable shell, known as a mother shell. You will create the mother shell with plaster sheets.Cut 4 to 6 sheets of plasters.
Step 4: Extract the Mold
Hand one player a pair of dice and, if needed, something to toss them into. Hand the plastic wrap ball to the player on their right. Make sure to insert another piece of wood into the center of your molds so that it doesn’t touch the mesh edges, which may cause some unwanted holes after drying. Once done pouring, make sure to pull out any absorbent material that may have been in the concrete mix before this stage, as it could make your bricks less sturdy or solid. If you can find it, the Masonite board is useful for making your molds as it works very well with cement and holds its shape better than many other materials.
"Easy to read and follow. Needed to repair some outdoor hail damage on some plastic lids, so will give it a try." Always be careful when using the stove, and wear protective eyewear when handling acetone. In the saucepan, heat the milk gently and bring it just to a simmer.
Step 6: Resin Casting.
Set aside the master part and reassemble the mold. Pour the melted material over the master part. Carefully pour the melted molding material over the master part. Gently remove the mold from the heat safe container and the master part from the mold. To make plastic polymers, start by dissolving a spoonful of borax in water.

Construct a container using hot glue and foam core, then shape it to match the mold you have. Put the components into the clay by applying pressure. WikiHow is a “wiki,” similar to Wikipedia, which means that many of our articles are co-written by multiple authors.
Introduction: A Simple But Strong Plastic Box
In a separate cup, add a small amount of glue, a few spoonfuls of water, and stir. If you want to color your polymer, you can also add some food coloring at this point. Now add a spoonful of the borax solution to the glue mixture and combine until slimy.
Each sheet should be 6 inches longer than the mold. Push the styrofoam to the bottom of the cup. You should start to see the reaction relatively quickly, so it's important to keep your safety glasses and gloves on while you do this. In general, it's at a good moldable consistency between 3 and 5 minutes. Line the box/bowl with plastic wrap as this will make it easier to remove. It will also make a Lego box waterproof and keep it clean.
Being a company, most of their videos are pushing their own products, but a lot of it should extend to competing brands or DIY solutions. Again I lined the box with plastic to stop sticking and mess. The solvent in the resin soaked through the plastic and started eating into the lego, as in the last pic. I cut out a small cylinder and attached it to the top. This created an overhang in the mold that gave me trouble later. Plasticine is used for making the master shape.
Set your mold and master item onto the plate and allow it to cure for 1 hour. When the mold is no longer tacky to the touch, remove the master item. While the mold is curing, it is essential that the master item remain within the mold. Once clean and dry, apply a release agent to the original item—this will ensure that the master part will pop free from the mold.
Some have also found success using mineral oil or some form of cooking oil but these should be used with caution as they may have an effect on certain materials not curing properly. Attach 4 alignment keys to the top of the clay bed. Alignment keys join the 2 halves together perfectly.

I used a piece of leftover 1/4-inch plywood to construct the base. Determine how much resin you will need to complete your project. You may also cover the surface with a trash bag or an old vinyl tablecloth.
25ml was too much so i made a poor mold of a lego brick as well. Make a box out of lego the aproximate shape of your piece. You could just use a bowl or jar ut using lego means less waste. For my project I cut the sheet into the following sizesa.
